We are seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Langley Memorial Hospital. This is a casual opportunity for a skilled professional to provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the delivery of high-quality medical imaging services.
About the RoleAs a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing special procedure examinations in CT and radiographic procedures in accordance with departmental policy and procedures. You will work closely with our team to ensure that patients receive safe and effective care, and that our facilities meet the highest standards of safety and quality.
Responsibilities- Perform special procedure examinations in CT and radiographic procedures
- Prepare examination trays and patients for specific procedures
- Operate computerized imaging equipment and monitor patient during procedures
- Report malfunctioning equipment to Supervisor
- Facilitate workflow of designated work area and oversee daily operations and activities of Medical Imaging personnel
- Maintain equipment and ensure a safe and healthy workplace for patients/clients and staff
- Certification with the CAMRT
- Completion of an advanced specialty program in Computed Tomography
- One (1) year recent, related experience including supervisory experience and experience in radiology procedures
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification - Basic Life Support (BCLS) level
