Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Dhaba Dosa Indian Grill. As a key member of our restaurant operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Food Preparation and Service: Oversee the activities of our kitchen staff, including cooks, food preparers, and servers, to ensure that meals are prepared and served efficiently and to the highest standards.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide on-the-job training and coaching to our staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties effectively.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock levels and usage.
  • Ensure Quality Control: Monitor and maintain quality control standards for food and service, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Prepare Reports: Compile and submit reports on sales, stock levels, and other key performance indicators to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment with a fast-paced atmosphere.
  • Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
