We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join our team at Eat-In Foods Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate Activities: Collaborate with other work units and departments to ensure seamless communication and execution of tasks.
- Supply Chain Management: Monitor the movement of supplies and materials between departments, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing delays.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports to management, providing insights into production progress and identifying areas for improvement.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate work records and logs, tracking production progress and identifying areas for improvement.
- Warehouse Management: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that all materials and supplies are properly stored and accounted for.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with production supervisors to schedule production runs, estimate material and labor requirements, and monitor production progress.
- Training and Development: Train workers in duties and policies, conducting performance reviews and providing feedback to improve productivity and quality.
- Logistics and Scheduling: Establish work schedules and procedures, planning and overseeing operational logistics to ensure efficient production processes.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a production or logistics role.
- Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced production environment with a focus on quality and efficiency.
- Physical Demands: Ability to work in a warehouse environment, with regular lifting and bending required.
