This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills as an Intermediate Project Designer, working closely with our experienced design team to deliver high-quality projects from Discovery to Close Out phases. You will be responsible for supporting project delivery, learning and working with our interior design processes, including Pure DesignTM, and contributing to contract management activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Support: Assist in delivering project goals through proficiency in the Discover, Plan, Implement, Monitor, and Close phases of the Project Plan methodology.
  • Design Development: Participate in initial concept development, assist with working drawings and drawing mark-ups, and ensure AutoCAD drawings are site accurate.
  • Contract Management: Assist with project work according to the Project Plan, prepare change notices and instructions, and review shop drawings.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with Building Code requirements, interpret regulations, and learn principles of Risk Management.

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Interior Design from a recognized accredited College or University.
  • National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) certification or studying for it.
  • Association of Registered Interior Designers of Ontario (ARIDO) membership.
  • Familiarity with building code requirements, laws, standards, and regulations.
  • Knowledge of the interior design process from Discovery to Project Close Out phases.
