Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Senior Electrical Power Systems Engineer to join our Belleville team at Spark Power Corp.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical power generation, transmission, and distribution systems and equipment.
  • Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams, and manufacturer specifications to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installations.
  • Ensure all electrical installations adhere to applicable client standards and trade practices.
  • Complete maintenance reports, QA/QC, and ensure paperwork is completed timely and legibly.
  • Scope and order material for projects and daily work requirements.
  • Travel to remote locations and work at heights outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive $95,000 - $110,000 per year salary, depending on experience, along with an excellent benefits package, including flexible options, wellness spending accounts, RRSP, and more.

Requirements:
  • Journeyman Electrician and industry-related safety certification.
  • PSE designation is considered an asset.
  • Experience in industrial electrical construction and maintenance.
  • A professional and respectful attitude with a strong customer service focus.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to effectively communicate verbally and written.
  • Ability to work independently and cohesively within groups.
  • Capable of working at various heights with the ability to stand, crouch, and kneel for long periods of time.
  • Knowledge to interpret Canadian electrical code and Alberta Utility Code with a high level of mathematical aptitude.
  • Willingness to travel, work in remote job locations, and perform shift work.
