Job Overview:

As a highly motivated and passionate HVAC installer, you will be responsible for leading an install crew and guiding lesser-experienced technicians. Your primary tasks will include removing existing gas furnaces and installing heat pump systems, as well as collaborating with engineering teams to improve products and streamline installation processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Remove existing HVAC equipment and prepare the area for new installations
  • Install new heat pump systems, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to building codes
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning and replacing filters
  • Test heat pump systems to guarantee optimal performance
  • Collaborate with other technicians and engineering teams on product development and installation procedures
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions
  • Train team members on Jetson's equipment and installation procedures

Requirements:

  • You must hold a Red Seal Licensed HVAC/R Journeyman certification
  • Proven experience as an install team member and team lead is required
  • A Gas B Ticket is mandatory for this position
  • Heat pump installation experience is preferred but not necessary
  • You should have a strong understanding of HVAC systems and their components
  • Able to read blueprints and schematics, adhering to building codes and regulations
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities

Estimated Salary: $65 per hour, depending on location and experience
