About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Manager to join our team at Colgate-Palmolive Company. As a critical member of our new organization, you will own the development and implementation of data governance, controls, and compliance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Strategies: Formulate and roll-out data governance strategies, policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and requirements.
  • Compliance and Monitoring: Oversee the development, review, and monitoring of compliance with data governance processes, and lead investigations and reporting of any violations.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate data governance controls and policies into key organizational processes.
  • Training and Communication: Design and deliver training programs and workshops to enhance data governance knowledge and practices across the organization.
  • Change Management: Facilitate change management activities to ensure the adoption of changes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Data Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in developing and implementing data governance and risk management practices at an enterprise level.
  • Demonstrated experience in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of workshop facilitation, change management methodologies, and project management.
  • Excellence in influencing, communication, problem solving, and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CDMP certification.
  • Knowledge of data management and governance policies and standards.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $110,000 to $158,000 per year, as well as annual discretionary bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package, including insurance, retirement plans, and paid leave.
