Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personal care and support to our patients, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, toileting, skincare, and light meal preparation.
  • Assess, anticipate, and respond to the changing needs of patients, communicating effectively with the care team to ensure seamless support.
  • Perform delegated and assigned tasks under the supervision of a Home Support Supervisor, ensuring the highest level of patient care.
  • Travel within assigned regions to provide care and support to patients in their homes or facilities.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and Mandarin/Cantonese.
  • One of the following qualifications: Valid Personal Support Worker Certificate, RN/RPN Student with a minimum of one year of program completion, or Internationally licensed Nurse, Midwife, or Physician.
  • Physical ability to meet the demands of the job, including standing, bending, walking, and lifting.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional personal care and customer service.
  • Valid Standard First Aid and Level C CPR certification.
  • Valid Vulnerable Sector Criminal Check.
  • Updated immunization record, including TB Test within the last six months.
  • Proficient verbal and written English communication skills.
