Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to oversee the successful completion of electrical projects. This role requires a strong leadership presence, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
About the Role
- SUPERVISE AND COORDINATE ACTIVITIES OF ELECTRICIANS: Ensure that all team members have the necessary resources and support to complete tasks efficiently.
- PLAN AND LAYOUT WIRING DIAGRAMS, CONDUIT SYSTEMS, AND ELECTRICAL PANEL LOCATIONS: Utilize technical knowledge to design and implement electrical systems.
- ENSURE ADHERENCE TO SAFETY STANDARDS AND PROCEDURES: Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and procedures.
- MONITOR THE PROGRESS OF PROJECTS: Regularly review project progress to ensure timely completion and within budget.
- ROUBLESHOOT ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS AND DIAGNOSE ISSUES: Analyze and resolve electrical issues to minimize downtime.
- TRAIN AND MENTOR ELECTRICIANS IN SAFETY PROTOCOLS AND JOB SKILLS: Provide guidance and support to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- ENSURE THAT ALL MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT ARE AVAILABLE FOR PROJECTS: Procure necessary materials and equipment to maintain project momentum.
- MONITOR THE WORK OF ELECTRICIANS TO ENSURE QUALITY OF WORK MEETS STANDARDS: Regularly inspect work to guarantee high-quality results.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must possess:
- HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENT: Demonstrate basic educational requirements.
- 5+ YEARS EXPERIENCE IN ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION AND WIRING: Showcase extensive experience in electrical installation and wiring.
- PROVEN EXPERIENCE IN A LEAD OR SUPERVISORY ROLE: Highlight your leadership abilities and track record of success.
- WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF ELECTRICAL CODES AND REGULATIONS: Display your understanding of relevant electrical codes and regulations.
- ABLE TO INTERPRET WIRING DIAGRAMS AND SCHEMATICS: Demonstrate your ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics.
- EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION AND PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS: Showcase your exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities.
- ABLE TO WORK IN A FAST-PACED ENVIRONMENT: Demonstrate your adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
