Job Title: Clinical Supervisor - Addiction and Mental Health Services

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Supervisor to join our team at Alberta Health Services. The successful candidate will provide clinical supervision and leadership to a multidisciplinary team of clinicians providing addiction and mental health services to individuals, families, and groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical supervision to staff providing addiction and/or mental health services
  • Lead and manage a team of clinicians to provide high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures
  • Conduct clinical case reviews and provide feedback to staff
  • Develop and deliver education and training programs for staff
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Psychology or Social Work
  • Active or eligible for full registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP) or the Alberta College of Social Work (ACSW)
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in providing mental health assessment and intervention
  • Experience working in a community setting, preferably in addictions and mental health
  • Knowledge and skill in mental health assessment, risk assessment, crisis intervention, treatment, and brief solution-focused therapy
  • Experience working with community and external stakeholders
  • Strong leadership and management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in crisis response, community outreach, and 24-hour programs
  • Familiarity or experience working with law enforcement and external partners
