Job Title: Executive Chef
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team at Ontario Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning menus, estimating food requirements, and supervising kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan menus and estimate food requirements for our fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent food quality and service.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintaining inventory and records to ensure efficient operations.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Manage kitchen operations, including ordering supplies and equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Excellent oral communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads.
