Trestle Brewing Company is a craft brewery & kitchen located on the waterfront in beautiful Parry Sound, Ontario featuring an incredible waterfront patio. Opened in 2018, Trestle is a destination for visitors to the area as well as a hub for the local community year around.
Our menu is focused on gastropub style comfort food & small plates - done the right way, generous, and made from scratch incorporating local ingredients and our beer wherever possible. We are proudly Feast ON Certified by the Ontario Culinary Alliance.

**About Parry Sound**
An outdoors paradise, Parry Sound is located on the shores of Georgian Bay, just two hours north of the GTA, an hour west of Huntsville, and an hour north of Barrie. It is one of the main “Cottage Country” regions in Ontario. It is a small town, with about 20,000 year round residents in the area that swells seasonally. It’s a great community to settle into with a relatively low cost of living/housing (and no traffic) compared to the city. You can go for a swim on your lunch break in the summer at a Blue Flag designated beach and snowmobile to work in the winter. If you hate swimming and snowmobiling

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
To direct and control the Culinary Operations of the business at an excellent level while implementing, maintaining and abiding by all standards, policies and/or procedures set forth by our company and applicable government agencies.
This includes, but is not limited to: maintaining high morale within your team and executing/driving excellence in food quality, food preparation & creativity, cleanliness, organization and the ongoing development of the skills of your crew and management of food service operations.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Providing leadership, supervision, and training to the culinary/food service team
- Full direction of the food service operations and management of quality assurance
- Inventory management and ordering
- Expert staff scheduling
- Standard fare and creative feature menu development and implementation
- Food cost control
**QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE**
- Previous experience managing a culinary team in a high volume, fast paced environment.
- Experience with projection and management of inventory, food cost, labour, variable costs and prep charts.
- Knowledge and consistent compliance of government health and safety standards.
- Proven Professional Leadership Skills - staff development and motivation, technical culinary skills training, policy and procedure management, time management, problem solving/decision making.
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills - Self-motivated/driven, positive/high energy, excellent written and verbal communication skills, administration skills, adaptability/flexibility, dependability/attendance, appearance/grooming.
- Proven ability to achieve short and long term business goals/vision
**OTHER KEY ATTRIBUTES**
- You are able to balance the different requirements of the role. While inventory, ordering and office work are part of the job - you understand and embrace the importance of providing direct day-to-day leadership in the kitchen.
- Highly organized with a passion for both casual and fine dining with creativity.

Pay: $75,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
