Overview


At Custom Culinary, we're seeking a highly skilled Head of Canadian Financial Operations to lead our finance team in Canada. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned financial professional to drive growth, profitability, and excellence in our Canadian operations.



Salary and Benefits


We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health and group benefits, education reimbursement, life event recognition, defined contribution retirement plan, career development opportunities, annual wellness allowance, and annual incentive.



Job Description


The Director of North American Finance will be responsible for the development, management, and reporting of Canadian financial and operational performance with thorough analysis to maximize overall profitability. Key duties include:



  • Leading the monthly financial reporting process, including month-end closing, financial statement preparation, and result reporting.
  • Driving the annual budgeting process to ensure accuracy, completeness, and accountability throughout the Canadian organization.
  • Supporting the annual audit process.
  • Developing and implementing long-term business strategies to achieve profit and growth objectives.
  • Identifying, leading, and implementing continuous improvement activities within the Finance organization.
  • Reviewing and implementing improvements to existing pricing processes, guidelines, and strategies.
  • Working on key special projects to drive improvement and savings to the organization.


Required Skills and Qualifications


To succeed in this role, you'll need:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, preferably Master's Degree, CPA, or CMA.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and database/ERP applications.
  • Ability to travel occasionally (up to 10%).
