Job Title: Truck Driver - Long Haul

Tri Curtain Transport Ltd is seeking a skilled Truck Driver - Long Haul to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across long distances.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and adjust routes to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring safe and efficient transportation
  • Load and unload goods, adhering to safety protocols
  • Obtain necessary permits and documents for international routes
  • Operate and maintain tractor-trailers, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, addressing any issues promptly
  • Participate in preventive maintenance, ensuring vehicles are in good working condition
  • Tarp and secure cargo, ensuring safety and security during transport
Requirements:
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Experience with dry bulk, flatbed, refrigerated, and straight truck operations
  • Long-haul transportation experience
  • Criminal record check, driving record check, and drug test
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with repetitive tasks
  • Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) weight handling
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, oral communication, flexibility, reliability, and teamwork
