Job Title: Truck Driver - Long Haul

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at HRD Tank Lines LTD. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
  • Operate a semi-trailer truck safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring accurate documentation and handling of cargo
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle condition and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations
  • Maintain accurate records of hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
Requirements:
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks)
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Valid driver's licence
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
