Job Title: Truck Driver - Long Haul

Tri Curtain Transport Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver - Long Haul to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across long distances.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and adjust routes to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring safe and efficient transportation
  • Load and unload goods, taking care to secure cargo and prevent damage
  • Obtain necessary permits and documents for international routes
  • Operate and maintain a variety of trucks, including straight and articulated vehicles
  • Perform regular vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure safety and efficiency
  • Collaborate with other drivers and transportation staff to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Experience with long-haul trucking, preferably with a reputable company
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to handle the demands of long-haul driving
