About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Professional to join our team at Miles Employment Group. As an Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for leading the process of establishing and monitoring internal financial controls, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial plans, forecasts, and budgets to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile bank and credit card statements, as well as accounts receivable and payable, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Financial Operations: Manage the day-to-day financial operations, including expense tracking, disbursement, and cash management.
  • Database Management: Develop and maintain a database of prospects and donors, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years of recent experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of managing accounting operations and financial planning.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Certifications: CPA or enrolled in the CPA program with PREP completed.
