Accountant Job Description

HM Tax and Accounting Inc. is seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for planning, setting up, and administering accounting systems, as well as preparing financial information for individuals, departments, or companies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and administer accounting systems to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Prepare financial information, including financial statements and reports, for individuals, departments, or companies.
  • Develop and maintain cost findings, reporting, and internal control procedures.
  • Analyze financial documents and reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in accounting.
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Permanent employment with 40 hours per week.
  • Language of work: English.
Work Environment:

Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a focus on attention to detail.
