We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our team at the University Health Network (UHN) in Toronto, Canada.

Job Summary

This full-time position is for a temporary period of one year, with the possibility of renewal. The successful candidate will design and execute a research project that aligns with the strategic objectives of the lab, led by Dr. Long Nguyen, a clinician scientist and breast medical oncologist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute a research project in breast cancer cell biology, with input from the PI
  • Train and supervise students who will have their own research projects
  • Work with scientific collaborators to execute the project
  • Perform sophisticated analysis of single cell sequencing datasets
  • Write and review manuscripts for publication
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be competitive for this role, you should have recently graduated from a PhD program, with publication(s) and manuscript(s) in preparation or completed. You should also have excellent critical thinking and analytical skills, along with a high degree of independence and flexibility to thrive in a rapidly evolving research environment.
