Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team at EQ Bank | Equitable Bank. This role will be responsible for mitigating security risks associated with third-party vendors and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our financial systems.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with technology teams and line of business stakeholders to develop and implement effective cybersecurity strategies. Key responsibilities include performing risk assessments, monitoring and reporting on third-party security risk action plans, and maintaining a comprehensive security management framework.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments of third-party vendors to identify potential security threats
  • Develop and implement remediation plans to mitigate identified risks
  • Maintain accurate records of third-party security risk assessments and action plans
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with company-wide cybersecurity policies and procedures
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A college diploma or university degree in a relevant field, such as computer science or information security
  • At least 5 years of experience in information security and risk management
  • Proven expertise in conducting third-party risk assessments and developing remediation plans
  • Familiarity with cloud security shared responsibility models and risk mitigation techniques
What We Offer

In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, disability benefits, and a generous vacation policy.
