Housekeeping Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at MAPLE CREST INN. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire, train, and supervise cleaning staff to ensure high-quality service.
  • Coordinate and oversee daily cleaning schedules to meet our high standards.
  • Inspect facilities to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare and manage budgets for cleaning supplies and services.
  • Recommend additional services as needed to maintain our facilities.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and process payments for specialized cleaning jobs.
  • Assist cleaners with their duties and provide guidance as needed.
  • Coordinate work activities with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Establish and manage work schedules to meet our needs.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment with 32 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.
Work Environment:

This is a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and perform repetitive tasks. The role involves standing for extended periods, handling heavy loads, and bending, crouching, and kneeling.
