About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team at Browns Social House Newport Village. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring exceptional quality and consistency in every dish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items to enhance our culinary offerings
  • Collaborate with our culinary team to plan and execute special events and promotions
  • Ensure accurate inventory management and ordering of supplies and equipment
  • Conduct regular kitchen inspections to maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Support the development and implementation of new menu items and culinary programs
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive dining experience for our guests
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Equivalent experience in a related field
