Job Title: Personal Support Worker

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Gregory Dube. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide assistance to clients in their daily lives, promoting independence and dignity.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
  • Assist clients with daily tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide companionship and engage in activities that promote social interaction
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Shop for food and household supplies
  • Cook meals and prepare snacks
  • Assist clients with mobility and transfer
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Work Setting:

Our clients live in a supportive environment, with optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Room and board are provided.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Hours:

40 hours per week.
