About the Role:
The Deli Clerk is a key member of our Thrifty Foods team, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Process customer deli orders, handling and preparing deli products with accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all Food Safety Protocols and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Participate in the training of junior staff, sharing knowledge and expertise to ensure a high level of customer service.
- Order and receive stock in accordance with company inventory control procedures, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of products.
- Process department shrink, identifying and addressing any issues that may impact sales or customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to the success of the store by actively promoting products, increasing sales and improving customer engagement.
