About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Circle K. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Process Transactions: Scan items, calculate total payment, and provide change to customers.
  • Stock Shelves and Clean Counter Area: Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves, sweeping and mopping floors, and cleaning the counter area.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, answer questions, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Participate in Promotional Activities: Participate in sales promotions, product demonstrations, and other in-store events to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
  • Verify Age for Restricted Products: Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products.
Personal Suitability
  • Flexibility: Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
  • Work Term: Permanent position with opportunities for advancement.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
