Retail Sales Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team at 2438493 Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, cheques, and credit/debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
- Process Sales: Scan items, calculate daily/shift payments received, and reconcile with total sales to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain Store Appearance: Ensure the sales floor and surrounding areas are clean, tidy, and well-organized, and report any maintenance or repair issues to the management team.
- Work with Team Members: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, provide support during peak periods, and contribute to a positive and inclusive team environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Will train.
- Security Clearance: Basic security clearance.
- Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, flexible, team player, reliable, and able to work a 40-hour workweek.
