Job Title: Director, Credit Broker Channel

At HomeEquity Bank, we're seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Credit Broker Channel team. As the Director, Credit Broker Channel, you'll be responsible for overseeing the efficiency and quality of collateral adjudication, building strong relationships with the external Broker community, and ensuring adherence to risk and compliance guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coach a team of underwriters to ensure timely and efficient mortgage underwriting
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with the Broker community and internal stakeholders
  • Oversee the risk management of the business, ensuring full adherence to Bank policies and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Risk Management to enhance and monitor the quality assurance program
  • Partner with sales management to coach and train sales personnel on credit policies and processes
Requirements:
  • University degree or equivalent experience in mortgage underwriting or a related field
  • Expert relationship building skills and excellent analytical abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain daily business performance
  • French language skills are an asset
