We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver - Long Haul to join our team at JPS Trucking Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across the country.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- Load and unload goods
- Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
- Perform preventive maintenance
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
- AZ class license
- Air Brakes Endorsement
- Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
- Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
- Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate
- Dental plan
