Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at JPS Trucking Ltd. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring professionalism and courtesy when interacting with clients and colleagues.
  • Logistics: Arrange travel, itineraries, and make reservations as needed to ensure efficient transportation.
  • Safety: Ensure the safety and security of cargo, adhering to regulations and best practices for transporting hazardous materials.
Requirements:
  • Certifications: AZ class license, Air Brakes Endorsement, Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks), Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, Driver's License (Class 1 or A), Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate.
  • Work Environment: 60 to 70 hours per week, with a focus on a permanent work term and English language communication.
