We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at JPS Trucking Ltd.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a semi-trailer truck to transport goods and materials across the country. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Transportation: Operate a semi-trailer truck to transport goods and materials across the country.
- Logistics: Plan and coordinate transportation routes, schedules, and cargo loads.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients, including communication, problem-solving, and issue resolution.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform regular vehicle inspections, maintenance, and repairs to ensure the truck is in good working condition.
- Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including hours of service, weight limits, and hazardous materials handling.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Licenses and Certifications: AZ class license, Air Brakes Endorsement, Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks), Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, Driver's License (Class 1 or A), Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate.
