Job Summary
The Timekeeping Clerk will provide administrative support to clinical teams by maintaining accurate and up-to-date timekeeping records. This role involves entering timekeeping information into the Scheduling & Timekeeping system, checking for accuracy and completeness, and updating data as necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter timekeeping information into the Scheduling & Timekeeping system
- Check timekeeping information for accuracy and completeness
- Update timekeeping records as necessary
- Process transaction forms and apply applicable codes in the scheduling & timekeeping system
- Track timekeeping exceptions and communicate findings to management
- Resolve problems identified during daily data edit routines
- Support payroll processes by performing routine calculations and completing documentation for approval
- Participate in improvements to scheduling and timekeeping transactional activities
- Perform a variety of clerical duties, including answering telephones and maintaining departmental files
Requirements
- Grade 12 and two years' recent related experience
- Completion of a recognized payroll course or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Ability to keyboard at 45 wpm
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to deal with others effectively
- Ability to organize work
- Ability to operate related equipment
