At Waterford Retirement Community-Barrhaven, we are seeking a part-time Attending Physician to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality clinical care to our residents and support their overall well-being.

We offer a competitive stipend of $700-$2,000 per month, depending on the number of residents assigned to you. As our attending physician, you will be responsible for providing quality medical care and services to 25-50 residents living in our Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Independent Living neighborhoods.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Documenting resident health records during each clinical visit
  • Collaborating with our team to provide guidance on medical care plans for each assigned resident
  • Delivering standard on-site hours and being available for emergencies on a reasonable basis
  • Participating in care planning with families, residents, and our team as requested

To be successful in this role, you should have current knowledge of geriatrics and gerontology and maintain good standing with the College of Physicians within the Province of Ontario.
