Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Logistics Oversight: Oversee the operational logistics of the organization, ensuring seamless execution of daily tasks and activities.
  • Logistics Planning and Organization: Plan and organize the operational logistics of the organization, including coordinating activities with other work units or departments.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports to management, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements.
  • Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, arranging for maintenance and repair work as needed.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, hire, train, and develop staff, conducting performance reviews and coordinating work assignments.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, requisitioning or ordering materials, equipment, and supplies as required.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in logistics, materials, and supply chain management.
  • Work Setting: Retail/wholesale establishment/distribution centre.
  • Health Benefits: Dental plan, disability benefits, health care plan.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week.
