Outbound SDR Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Outbound Sales Development Representative to join our sales team at Datarails. As an Outbound SDR, you will be responsible for identifying and creating new qualified sales opportunities for our Account Executives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach, to generate new sales opportunities.
  • Qualify inbound leads and set up meetings or calls between prospective clients and Account Executives.
  • Research and identify potential customers and key decision-makers within target accounts.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all activities and interactions in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop and refine outreach strategies.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly quotas for qualified opportunities and meetings set.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • Proven experience in outbound sales, lead generation, or a similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and other sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Resilient, with a positive attitude and a strong desire to achieve goals.

  • Base compensation 50k CAD base + 30k CAD commissions, based on multiple factors including prior experience, skills, and location. We are open to candidates with varying levels of experience.
