Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and bilingual Insurance Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting and educating prospects on Pet Health Insurance (PHI) to sell pet health insurance via inbound and outbound calls and/or online.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote and educate prospects on PHI to sell pet health insurance via inbound and outbound calls and/or online
  • Assist customers with policy and claims-related inquiries and up-selling/retaining PHI policies with existing customers
  • Achieve targets through sales and recommendations to bind client policies via inbound and outbound calls
  • Determine appropriate insurance products and coverage levels for clients
  • Contribute to continuous improvements of sales and service processes
  • Accurately document and follow up with customers to maintain client files
Requirements
  • Bilingual English and French is a must
  • AMF Damage Insurance License, Level 1 OR Level 2 is a must
  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer programs at once
  • Experience in achieving individual and team goals
  • Proven ability to recognize sales opportunities in a contact center environment
  • 2-3 years of experience with outbound sales is an asset

Actual salary for the role may vary depending on work location of the successful candidate and other factors including but not limited to, skills, education, experience, working conditions and the local labour market. In addition to base pay, eligible employees may participate in various incentive plans which are paid out at the discretion of the company and subject to individual and company performance.
