Restaurant Assistant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at McDonald's Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our team members are motivated and engaged.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operations Management: Oversee the preparation and presentation of food and beverages, ensuring that all menu items are prepared to our high standards.
  • Team Management: Supervise and motivate a team of restaurant staff, providing coaching and training to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that all customers receive a warm and welcoming experience, responding promptly to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Financial Management: Manage the restaurant's finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and controlling costs.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software.
