Job Summary:

The Lead Quality Control Inspector will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality standards are met in our production processes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and test materials, parts, or products for defects and deviations from specifications
  • Monitor operations to ensure conformance to procedures and make necessary process improvements
  • Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications and conducting visual and measurement tests
  • Document inspection results and input data into quality database
  • Collaborate with Warehouse Manager to create work guidelines for rework (quality control) work orders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through educational opportunities and technical publications
  • Exercise self-governance in daily priorities and responsibilities, working independently under remote supervision when necessary

Reporting Relationships and Supervision:

  • Reports to Manager, Quality Control with no direct reports

Requirements:

  • Two-year degree in a technical discipline such as engineering or quality management
  • Four-year degree preferred
  • Three years' experience as a quality control inspector in a regulated medical device environment
