Assistant Pharmacy Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as an Assistant Pharmacy Manager in Burnaby, BC. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a central fill facility that supports Save-On-Foods Pharmacies in BC by providing centralized services such as processing, packaging, and distribution.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Support day-to-day pharmacy central fill tasks, including the preparation, packaging, dispensing, distribution, and storage of drugs and pharmaceuticals to support our retail locations.
* Monitor and meet deadlines for prescription orders and delivery cut-off times.
* Support the Pharmacy Manager with setting staff work schedules, monitoring staff performance, assisting with recruiting, training, and supervising of team members.
* Receive questions and concerns about the workplace and further escalate as needed.
* Manage inventory effectively.
* Enforce policies and best practice protocols relating to pharmacy practice and drugs distribution.

**Requirements:**

* Hold a pharmacist licence and be in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia or with the equivalent regulatory body of another province.
* Possess strong leadership skills, effective communication, and problem-solving abilities.
* Be able to multitask and prioritize effectively.

**Compensation Details:**

* $46.00 - $49.00 per hour.

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
