About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Internal Medicine Specialist to join our team at Cornwall Community Hospital. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our internal medicine department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and Treat Patients: Conduct thorough medical examinations, diagnose diseases and physiological disorders, and develop effective treatment plans for patients.
  • Prescribe Medication and Treatment: Prescribe medication and treatment plans for patients, taking into account their medical history, current health status, and other relevant factors.
  • Refer Patients for Surgery: Refer patients to surgical specialists when necessary, ensuring that they receive the best possible care.
  • Act as Consultants to Other Physicians: Provide expert advice and guidance to other physicians, helping to ensure that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in internal medicine or a related field.
  • Work Setting: Willing to relocate for this position.
