About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Internal Medicine Specialist to join our team at Cornwall Community Hospital. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our hospital's medical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and Treat Diseases
    • Conduct thorough medical examinations to diagnose diseases and physiological disorders
    • Develop and implement effective treatment plans to manage patient conditions
  • Prescribe Medication and Treatment
    • Prescribe medication and treatment plans to patients as needed
    • Monitor patient response to treatment and adjust plans as necessary
  • Consult with Other Physicians
    • Collaborate with other physicians and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
    • Act as a consultant to other physicians on complex medical cases
  • Manage Patient Records
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
    • Ensure that patient information is confidential and secure
Requirements
  • Education
    • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree
  • Experience
    • At least 1 year of experience in internal medicine
  • Certifications
    • Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
