About the Role

The Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Maintenance (AME - M) is a critical position at Avmax Careers - Canada, responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of our aircraft. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out inspections, troubleshooting, and repairing aircraft systems to ensure safe and efficient flight operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft systems to identify potential issues and defects.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on aircraft systems, including airframe, engine, and propeller components.
  • Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to identify failures or potential failures.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
  • Document all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and troubleshooting efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for aircraft maintenance.
Requirements
  • Transport Canada Certified AME - M License required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the field, with a focus on aircraft maintenance and repair.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, management, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
