Dispatchers Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dispatchers Supervisor to join our team at RiteWay Moving & Storage. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the activities of our dispatchers, ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation services.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and Supervise Dispatchers: Oversee the daily activities of our dispatchers, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Manage Transportation Operations: Coordinate the movement of goods and equipment, ensuring that all transportation schedules are met and that our customers receive excellent service.
- Prepare and Submit Reports: Compile and submit regular reports on transportation operations, including metrics on efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure Smooth Operation of Computer Equipment and Machinery: Oversee the maintenance and repair of our computer equipment and machinery, ensuring that they are in good working order at all times.
- Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and development opportunities for our dispatchers, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
- Coordinate and Assign Work: Coordinate and assign work tasks to our dispatchers, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Requisition and Order Materials and Supplies: Order and requisition materials and supplies as needed, ensuring that our dispatchers have the resources they need to perform their jobs effectively.
- Establish Work Schedules and Procedures: Establish and maintain work schedules and procedures, ensuring that our dispatchers are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a dispatching or supervisory role.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Language: English.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Physical Demands: Ability to handle heavy loads and work in a warehouse environment.
- Security and Safety: Ability to pass a criminal record check and driving record check.
