Key Responsibilities

As a Fleet Operations Manager at Le Groupe Master, you will oversee the daily operations of our national fleet, ensuring optimal use and exceptional performance. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Efficient Fleet Management: Oversee the daily operations of our fleet of vehicles to ensure optimal use and exceptional performance.
  • Maintenance and Safety: Ensure all vehicles are in top operational condition, compliant with regulations, and ready to hit the road by scheduling regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Leadership and Team Development: Lead and motivate a team of drivers, managing their recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve the productivity of both drivers and vehicles.
  • Safety and Compliance: Develop and implement driver safety programs, ensuring all operations adhere to industry laws and standards.
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Leverage data and analytics to identify improvement opportunities and drive performance initiatives.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bilingualism: Proficiency in English and French, both spoken and written.
  • Fleet Management Expertise: Strong knowledge of fleet management principles, vehicle maintenance, and safety regulations.
  • Leadership: Proven team management skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team of drivers.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data and make informed decisions to optimize operations.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience as a Fleet Supervisor/Manager or in a similar role within the transportation or logistics industry.
  • Certifications: Certified in Transportation and Logistics (CTL) or equivalent is an asset.
