Richmond Hospital Pediatrician Role
We are seeking a skilled pediatrician to join our 6-member department at Richmond Hospital, part of Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH). This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated professional to provide high-quality care to our patients and contribute to the growth of our team.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing medical services to our birth centre, NICU, inpatient service, and emergency department. As a pediatrician with VCH, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that values collaboration, professionalism, and patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality medical services to infants, children, and adolescents in various settings, including the birth centre, NICU, inpatient service, and emergency department.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and support.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and advancements in pediatric medicine.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) License - Full/Provisional.
- Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) membership.
- Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC).
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PAL) certification, desired.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
