Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join its team at Richmond Hospital.

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our fast-paced hospital environment. As a member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate client care.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care to assigned patients/clients, working independently and as a member of an interdisciplinary care team.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate client care, enhancing quality of life from the perspective of the client/family.
  • Document care provided and respond to incidents in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Consult, confer, and collaborate with other healthcare providers, including participating on designated hospital committees/teams and approved research projects as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability in nursing practice related to designated client group.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement care plans, ensuring effective communication with clients and their families.
  • Demonstrated skill in clinical techniques, the use of applicable equipment and supplies, and CPR techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate related equipment, including effectively using a computerized client care information system.
