Job Title: Building Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Building Maintenance Worker to join our team at Tandel Group Inc.

Job Summary:

The Building Maintenance Worker will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure the cleanliness and safety of our facilities. This includes sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors, as well as operating industrial vacuum cleaners and performing minor repairs to heating, cooling, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and dirt
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings
  • Perform minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
  • Perform safety and security checks
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a maintenance or janitorial role
  • Permanent employment
  • Language: English or French
  • Hours of work: 30 hours per week
