You will also be required to plan menus, ensure food quality, and train staff on food handling and preparation techniques. Additionally, you will support newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition.

Responsibilities
  • Estimate amount and costs of supplies and food items
  • Analyze operating costs and other data
  • Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food
  • Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
  • Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food

This is a permanent position offering 32-40 hours per week. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a diverse team. A competitive salary is offered, estimated to be around $$50,000 - $60,000 per year based on your experience and qualifications.
