Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Elementary Teacher to join our team at the Upper Canada District School Board. This is a permanent position with a 0.2 FTE assignment, covering grades K-6 and prep coverage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach elementary students in grades K-6, covering various subjects and curriculum areas.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, assessments, and evaluations to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver curriculum, and participate in professional development opportunities.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment.
Requirements
  • Must have an Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) certification in good standing.
  • Required qualifications in Primary, Junior, and French as a Second Language (FSL).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
