Elementary Teacher

We are seeking a qualified Elementary Teacher to join our team at the Upper Canada District School Board. This is a permanent position with a 0.2 FTE (20% of full-time equivalent) workload, covering grades K-6 and providing prep coverage.
Key Responsibilities- Teach elementary students in grades K-6, covering a range of subjects and curriculum areas.
- Provide prep coverage for the school, ensuring that classes are adequately staffed and students receive the support they need.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and curriculum plans.
- Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed about student progress and well-being.
- Must have an Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) certification in good standing.
- Required qualifications in Primary, Junior, and French as a Second Language (FSL).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities, with a flexible and positive attitude.
