Pizza House Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Ethnic Food Specialist to join our team at Pizza House. As an Ethnic Food Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, inspecting kitchens and food service areas, training staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, supervising kitchen staff and helpers, maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, and cleaning kitchen and work areas.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Work Setting: Restaurant, Urban area, Fast food outlet or concession
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
Work Environment

As an Ethnic Food Specialist at Pizza House, you will work in a fast-paced environment with physically demanding tasks, repetitive tasks, and standing for extended periods. You will be required to work under pressure and maintain a client-focused approach.
